J.M. Baxi & Co. Dhamra under the supervision of our Paradip office, successfully handled Ship to Ship Transfer operation at Dhamra Anchorage port.  The first STS operation handled on 25th July 2022 with vessels LPG/C Green Sarita and LPG/C Jag Vasant, a total of 10998.493 M/Tons of Propane and  10998.967 M/Tons of Butane transferred from LPGC Green Sarita to LPG/C Jag Vasant.  The second STS carried out on 27th July 2022 with MT Chemtrans Noas and MT Chemtrans Sea,  a total of 31578.044 M/Tons of  Carbon Black Feedstock oil (CBFS) transferred from mt Chemtrans Naos to mt Chemstrans Sea.

There were many challenges faced to handle the operations, and we managed to reduce handling expenses to make the operation competitive & attractive for future shipments. We received good support from  Authorities to make this operation successful.   We are confident to handling many more shipments at Dhamra STS point.
