Seafarers have been the main pillar of support in Shipping, they have been sailing across the oceans in these difficult times and surviving the pandemic all by themselves at Sea.

J. M. Baxi & Co. has been in forefront in attending to the needs of the crew at all times and now has taken the initiative to have the Indian Seafarers inoculated whenever their vessel touches any Indian Port.

In accordance with DGS Guidelines, J. M. Baxi & Co. recently organised a vaccination drive for crew members of MV DECCAN PRIDE which called Krishnapatnam port on 23.06.21. A similar drive was arranged at Haldia port for two vessels MV JAG VISHNU & MV SANMAR SONNET in the same month.

Crew members, as per required norms, were asked to complete their self-registration through Cowin/Arogyasetu app, if not already done, and thereafter in coordination with the concerned authority they were vaccinated. At Krishnapatnam this initiative was first of its kind and was concluded successfully.

The count still continues and we aim to vaccinate each and every Seaman that reaches out to us.
